The Right Weatherstripping

Stop Drafts Cold with LePage® Brand Weather Seals

There are many types of LePage® brand Winterization products that can be used to seal up a home. One of these options, high quality EPDM rubber weather seals, are easy to use and install. Which one is the right one for your winterization needs?

Sealing off air leaks is one of the most inexpensive and easiest ways to prepare your home for the winter, and weather seals are an efficient way to cut off the channels of air infiltration. Not all cracks are the same, and depending on the size and location of your gap, there are a variety of seals with specific profiles intended to block the most common air leakage locations effectively. Using the right seal will ensure a home has maximum protection from drafts, and can make a big difference in helping to keep it comfortable.

When determining the right seal, it is important to consider what material and profile is best for the job. The LePage® brand markets a variety of weather seals to provide consumers with a specialized product for nearly any application.

The good news is that there are a lot of options for sealing off the gaps and cracks in your house. The guide below will help you to decide if a rubber seal, caulk, or type of tape will work best with your target problem area.
